“When people think of exciting academic courses, Latin typically isn’t the first subject that comes
to mind. However, Ms. Miller brings life to what most people consider a dead language. At the start
of my freshmen year, I could never have imagined that Latin would quickly become my favorite
subject, largely due to outstanding teachers like Ms. Miller. She challenged us with material that not only
prepared us for her class, but also improved our understanding of the English language and
broadened our vocabulary. Ms. Miller shows a genuine concern for her students, and invests the time to
learn the individual abilities and unique personalities of each. It was a privilege to have her as my third
year Latin teacher, and I have enjoyed the opportunity to assist her in the Standleader adopt-a-teacher
program during my senior year. It is teachers like Ms. Miller who make Klein an outstanding school.”
