Place: tram or any other means of public transport as in any subliminal, domestic,
contemporary situation
Time: the time for one set cannot be more than 15 minutes
1. The intention of this game is to sabotage the social machine.
2. The game is one of active and situation strategy (prior information regarding
the action is not permitted)
3. Action is not taken by someone but against someone.
4. The number of players is unlimited.
5. ‘Literature partisans’ read or recite aloud. The choice of the respective
sabotage is made at random: situation: (Debord, Vayer, Vaneigem), Bolo Bolo,
The Anarchia Cook Book, Clauzewitz ‘O naturze wojny’, Hakim Bey ‘Poetycki
Terroryzm’).
The score in each set is random and based on emotions though it can be
adjusted by the choice of texts and the number of performers-players as well as
to the momentum of the vehicle (number of stops, the time of the ride between
the stops, stopovers at crossroads) and other passengers’ behaviour (friendly,
unfriendly). The text should be read so that its construction makes a spatial and
emotional contrast allowing for different intonations and potency of the voice,
from whispering to shouting.
The action is an intrusion into the ‘ public communication’ order, a utopian creation
of a ‘communication machine’ inside the system.
Respective expressions should be brief, up to 2-3 minutes long so that they
make an impression of poetic and literary terrorism, a collage of thoughts which
do not make a whole at first sight.
In case there is only one player - saboteur it is recommended to get into the vehicle
and to make the most of his or her vocal cords. After each set we change
and start from the beginning.
