Game Z- 40
The game is designed for one person, and because of the substantial procedures
which are necessary to organize it, this can be an impoverished person
with no hope of improving their situation.
We take the matches out of the box (there are approx. 40 matches in a box) and
we number them from 1 to 40.
We are now ready to begin the game. We put the matches back into the box,
shake them up and without looking empty the matches out. We shout out a
random number from 1 to 40 and we try, still not looking, to extract the match
with that number.
A player has three chances. If he is successful and extracts the proper match,
he can say,
“It is so hard, My Dear, to find you among all the others.
But I really want to start from the beginning.
Time flows too quickly! I lack the wisdom.
To close “Z-40” in the match box”.
If he is not successful in extracting the match with the given number the game
can be started from the beginning.
To make the game a bit more interesting, players can sit dressed smartly, with a
glass of wine, at a clean, covered table.
