you need:
- a chair
- a window
- your eyes
- your imagination
to intensify the concentration:
- ear drops
take a chair. place it in front of a closed window. sit down. if the place where
you are sitting is noisy use ear plugs. now watch the scene that is revealed
through the window.think about the sounds and voices that might be associated
with what you can see.
(a) imagine a sound to complete what you see; a sound which is directly suggested
by what you observe (birds, wind, traffic, sounds of movement of every
kind).
(b) imagine a background noise that could accompany a fantasy story constructed
around this scene, but which is otherwise unrelated to it (music, voices,
machinery etc.).
(c) combine (a) and (b).
