Ritual
In the banality and stress of the days passing by you have neither time nor the
possibility to concentrate on “what is most important, but cannot be seen”. What
could help you here is the practice of a simple ritual. Along your day-to-day
route, shopping, going to work or to school, choose an architectural detail or a
feature in the street, and make it a place of worship. It could be the edge of the
pavement, a manhole cover, or the top of an electricity pole. The more rudimentary
and banal the object is, the more it will stimulate and concentrate your thinking.
Touch or step into this place everyday, and think about it. After a certain time
this “place” will give you back its collected energy and will help you get through
those difficult moments.
Of course, you have to believe in this.
