MIL-STD 461C Tests support Antenna Polarizations
o The EMI auto tests for MIL-STD 461 C (with optional NB/BB discrimination) as well as for
MIL-STD 461 D/E/F now enable to maximize over both antenna polarizations (radiated
emissions tests with antennas only).
Force a receiver preset between test phases
o Because of the many optimizations concerning the programming of the receivers, in an EMI
AT only at the start of a test a preset will occur. The many mode changes and parameter
changes during an EMI AT might make a receiver unstable. Therefore a receiver preset
occurs before each test phase:
- before preview meas.
- before zoom1 meas.
- before max. meas.
- before zoom2/adjustment/finall meas.
EMI Auto Test Editor: enable to alternatively start with hor. Polarization
o In the EMI autotest editor: with Preview > Measurements Accessories > Polarization an
alternatively start with hor./vert. Polarization can be chosen.
Online help
o New flow charts showing Auto Test are added to the online help.
Interactive Data Reduction for Final Measurement with final results from other tests
o It is possible to set the parameter "Interactive Data Reduction before the final
measurement" in the limit lines dialog when the data reduction subdialog is disabled due to
starting the test without preview measurements but with final results from another test.
NSA Measurement
o User messages for repetition of the reference measurement improved.

Editor Zoom Measurement: doesn't allow to activate a zoom template without selecting
template name
o The EMI AT editor does not allow to save the following setting: activate a zoom scan /
sweep template but with no selected template.
Turn device out of property limits
o
It is now possible to generate a new test if the position of the turn device is outside the
device properties limits.
