In October 1819 George Archard of Nocketts Hill Farm wrote to the<br />
solicitors to request an extension to his lease, invoking a clause in the<br />
original lease,<br />
A covenant … that in the case that you G C Montagu should<br />
then be alive but not otherwise… you would grant me a further<br />
lease 469<br />
It isn’t known whether he was granted an extension on the lease, but in<br />
1821 470 Nocketts Hill Farm was leased to John Archard.<br />
