This clearly shows the new <strong>Lackham</strong> house, and as it’s inscription states<br />

it is for the “proposed” canal it must predate the end of 1795 387 .<br />

Therefore the current <strong>Lackham</strong> House was built by James Montagu V<br />

sometime between 1793 and 1795.<br />
