1978 Flight Anniversaries (Wright Brothers & Kingsford Smith) original artwork for the issued<br />
designs SG 200-3 comprising four watercolours by David Gentleman on thin card (270x189mm) with<br />
acetate overlays of additional design elements values & inscriptions, all in windowed folders<br />
(360x268mm). The folders all exhibit some faults & toning on the reverse: however, the artworks could<br />
be simply removed & attractively re-framed. Unique. (4 items)<br />

213 * A- C1 1914-15 3½-4mm Spacing '1s.' on 1mk red SG 12, small natural paper-flaw at the base hardly<br />
detracts, Cat £2000. Gibbs Certificate (2009) states "Small natural resinous paper inclusion at<br />
lower-right". [Tim Rybak's very fine example sold for $3680 at our auction of 26/4/2008]<br />

1914-15 5mm Spacing '1d.' on 5d green Inverted 'd' SG 17e [Stg 2 Pos 7?], well centred, a little<br />
aged, on small piece with 'STEPHANSORT/13/ * ' "frozen" cds in blue, Cat £2000. An underrated<br />
error. Holcombe Certificate states "I have recorded only 8 copies [sic] of this variety...They appear to<br />
come from two differing positions on the setting. All are used. A rare variety." [The very fine "Ello"<br />
example - also on a small piece - sold for $3910 at our auction of 14/3/2009]<br />
