According to the salt-spray and field tests, strength level (2B compared to 2H) has no marked influence on localised-corrosion resistance in atmospheric exposure. Heavy cold working or straining of metastable grades, which would cause the formation of straininduced martensite, may expose these materials to hydrogen embrittlement when in contact with, galvanised steels.
