4.1.2 Determ<strong>in</strong>ation of sheet spr<strong>in</strong>gback behaviour<br />

The spr<strong>in</strong>gback of the different project materials (together with other materials) was<br />

<strong>in</strong>vestigated, to ga<strong>in</strong> more detailed <strong>in</strong>sight <strong>in</strong>to the <strong>in</strong>fluence that thickness and the<br />

degree of cold-roll<strong>in</strong>g have on spr<strong>in</strong>gback behaviour. The bend<strong>in</strong>g technique used was<br />

air V-bend<strong>in</strong>g whereby the samples were formed <strong>in</strong> a V-shaped groove, us<strong>in</strong>g a tool<br />

with a predeterm<strong>in</strong>ed radius. Further test parameters are given <strong>in</strong> Table 23.<br />
