Remove the rear wheel<br />
Make sure the ground is level<br />
and firm and place the motorcycle<br />
on its stand.<br />
Remove axle nut 1 with washer.<br />
Slacken locknuts 3 on left and<br />
right.<br />
Slacken adjusting screws 2 on<br />
left and right.<br />
Remove adjusting plate 4 and<br />
push the axle in as far as it will<br />
go.<br />
Remove quick-release axle 5,<br />
supporting the rear wheel as<br />
you do so.<br />
Set down the rear wheel in the<br />
swinging arm and remove adjusting<br />
plate 6.<br />
Roll the rear wheel as far forward<br />
as possible and disengage<br />
chain 7 from the sprocket.<br />
Roll the rear wheel back and<br />
clear of the swinging arm, and<br />
at the same time work brake-
