Make sure the ground is level<br />
and firm and place the motorcycle<br />
on its stand.<br />
Remove the rear seat ( 53).<br />
Disconnect plug 1.<br />
Protect the plug on the motorcycle<br />
to prevent the ingress of<br />
foreign matter.<br />
Remove screws 2 and remove<br />
the number-plate carrier. Work<br />
the cable through opening 3.<br />
Install the rear seat ( 54).<br />
