Possible cause:<br />

The engine control unit has diagnosed<br />

a fault. In exceptional<br />

cases, the engine stops and refuses<br />

to start. Otherwise, the engine<br />

runs in emergency operating<br />

bear in mind that the usual engine<br />

power or the full range of<br />

engine rpm might not be available.<br />

Have the fault rectified as<br />

quickly as possible by a<br />

specialist workshop, preferably<br />

an authorised <strong>BMW</strong> <strong>Motorrad</strong><br />

dealer.<br />

Rear light bulb defective<br />

LAMPR ! appears on the display.<br />

Possible cause:<br />

Rear light or brake light bulb defective.<br />

The LED rear light must be<br />

replaced. Consult a specialist<br />

workshop, preferably an authorised<br />

Parking-light bulb<br />

A defective bulb places<br />

your safety at risk because<br />

Replace defective bulbs as<br />
