Install socket 3 in the socket,
making sure that retainer 2 engages
Install the cover.
Replacing parking-light
bulb, right
Make sure the ground is level
and firm and place the motorcycle
on its stand.
Switch off the ignition.
Remove cover 1.
Push down retainer 2 (using a
screwdriver if necessary) and
pull socket 3 out of the headlight
housing.
Remove bulb 4 from the socket.
Replace the defective bulb.
Do not touch the glass of
new bulbs with your fingers.
Use a clean, dry cloth to hold
the bulbs when handling them.
Dirt deposits, in particular oil and
grease, interfere with heat radiation
from the bulb. This leads
to overheating and shortens the
bulb's operating life.
