A.3 YAMAHA B♭ CLARINET<br />

The following graphs show the magnitude <strong>of</strong> the measured input impedance spectra for a B♭<br />

clarinet (Yamaha Custom CX) for all recommended fingerings. The impedance shown has been<br />

corrected to include the reed compliance, as discussed in Chapter 5. The <strong>measurement</strong>s were<br />

made at T = 27.5 ± 0.5 °C <strong>and</strong> relative humidity 61 ± 1 %.<br />

Measurements were also made on an A clarinet <strong>and</strong> for several alternate <strong>and</strong> mutiphonic<br />

fingerings. For brevity these are not reproduced here. For a complete set <strong>of</strong> <strong>measurement</strong>s<br />

together with sound files <strong>and</strong> comments for each note see .<br />
