Procedure 1. Disconnect the speaker and fan cables from the logic board. 2. Lift the speaker/fan assembly straight up and remove it from the enclosure. Important: Be careful that the fan and speaker cables do not catch on the PCI divider as you lift the assembly. 3. 4. If you are replacing the fan, use needlenose pliers to pull the fan off the four grommet fasteners. Then remove the fan from the bracket.
