MANHATTAN, KAS.—John Murphy, manager<br />
of the Sky-Vue Drive-In, left this week<br />
for liis home in Wichita where he will spend<br />
a vacation. He hopes to go hunting before<br />
returning here to become manager of the<br />
State Theatre.<br />

Kow to Have New Marquee<br />
JUNCTION CITY, KAS.—Installation of a<br />
new marquee has been started at the Kaw<br />
Theatre here. Approximately 400 bulbs will<br />
be used in the new marquee, which will be<br />
larger than the one recently removed.<br />

KANSAS CITY—Tuu games added to its<br />
list of victories during the ninth week of<br />
rivalry enabled the Shreve Theatre Supply<br />
Co. team to continue its lead in the Filmrow<br />

Post in Aberdeen, S. D.<br />
DULUTH, MINN.—Norton G. Rosevold, for<br />
the last five years manager of the Lyric<br />
Theatre here, has been promoted to city manof<br />
Minnesota Amusement Co, houses in<br />
at the Lyric by CjTil Dimcan, for the last<br />
two years manager of the Palace in Superior,<br />
iWis., and temporary manager of the Strand<br />
Aberdeen, S. D. With the firm 20 years, Rosevoid<br />
previously managed houses in Fargo and<br />
[Minot. N. D, Rosevold has been succeeded<br />
!here. Duncan was manager of a theatre in<br />
Rochester, Minn., before coming here. Rich-<br />
Peters, assistant manager at the Norshor,<br />
will become manager of the Strand. Al L.<br />
is district manager here for the Minjnesota<br />
Amusement Co.<br />
Wm. Miskell on Police Board<br />
OMAHA— William Miskell, Tri-States Theatres<br />
district manager, has been appointed<br />
to a three-year term on the Omaha police<br />
civil service commission. Death of a member<br />
brought Miskell's appointment to the commission<br />
a year ago. He was renamed by the<br />
mayor and the appointment confirmed by the<br />
city<br />
council.<br />
