B. Milliken, president of Television
Equipment Corp., announces that
his company has completed negotiations to
build the first commercial color television
equipment for Columbia Broadcasting Sys-
and Remington Rand, Inc.
This action follows closely the tentative
approval of the Columbia Broadcasting
system color television system granted by
the Federal Communications commission.
John Shevlin has been appointed manager
of the Indianapolis resident sales office
of A.&M. Karagheusian, Inc., according
to an announcement by the company. He
will be in charge of Gulistan sales in the
state of Indiana with the exception of several
southern counties.

according to John Proctor, general

Laurence Scott has been named acting
superintendent of the Texileather division
of Texileather Corp., succeeding W. P.
Giddings, who resigned. He had been assistant
to J. K. Weidig, vice-president.
