The amusement-seeking public demands
something new year after year for its
amusement dollar. The manufacturers of
theatre equipment realize this and are constantly
designing and improving equipment
to satisfy this demand. Their research derartments
are never idle.
When we consider the advancements
Imade during the past 20 years it is amazing.
iHard, wooden chairs have been replaced
(with luxurious upholstered furniture: the
Mazda lamps have given way to the brilliance
of carbon arc lamps for better illumination:
unsteady, jerky and swaying pictures
have been made rock-steady with
nodern projectors: the clarity of presentday
sound gives life-like speaking voices

sociated with him in business since their marriage
on; I.A) to develop fair and Just competitive
methods; (5) to perfect machinery lor the
peaceful settlement of disputes between
members, or between them and their customers,
and i6> to collect and disseminate
pertinent data relating to the industry and
generally to do such things authorized by
the certificate of Incorporation as may be
necessary to the foregoing results.
