6.1.2 During the provisional testing, besides the above tests, the following
conditions shall also be fulfilled:

1. All hardware specified in the contract shall be fully functional.
2. Errorless functioning of each software module of the system.
3. User interfaces and report layouts as expected
4. Totality of entries, queries, reports, check points and controls for
efficient operation of the module
5. The following documents shall be provided to Nepal Telecom:
a) Installation Manual
b) Interconnection details including scripts if used.
c) Functional description of the entire system
d) Data dictionary, table structure and their relationship
e) System operational and maintenance manuals
f) Users guides for all types of users in the system
6. All documents shall be in paper and electronic media.
7. After completion of the Provisional Acceptance Testing, Nepal
Telecom will issue the Provisional Acceptance Certificate
(PAC)or Rejection Letter within fourteen (14) days from the date
of completion of the provisional acceptance testing. If all the tests
are successfully performed or if only some minor deficiencies are
noticed, the Provisional Acceptance Certificate will be issued
with the condition that the minor deficiencies will be cleared
within one month from the date of issuance of the certificate.
8. Issuance of Provisional Acceptance Certificate will not prejudice
any claim with respect to any defect or malfunction, which may
subsequently develop during the warranty period.
9. Nepal Telecom will put the system for commercial operation after
the Provisional Acceptance Testing is completed provided the
acceptance testing is completed successfully according to the
contract schedule. If the testing and commissioning of the system
is delayed beyond the contract schedule period and/or if there are
major deficiencies, Nepal Telecom will have full authority to put
the system into commercial service before issuing Provisional
Acceptance Certificate. Under such circumstances, the supplier is
required to make the basic functions and services in place, ready
for bringing the system into production use and provide
maintenance service (technical support and maintenance of
Hardware and Software) from the date the system is brought into
commercial service at no additional cost to Nepal Telecom.
