location of buried pipes and cables. Functions include:<br />

Power mode for detecting live imbalanced cables to a<br />

conductors carrying the signal generated by the C.Scope<br />

Pinpoints faults in shielded and direct buried<br />

primary cables via Geophone probe(s). Can<br />

be used with any surge generator (thumper).<br />

Stand-alone unit measures electromagnetic surge<br />

and supplies the amplitude of that surge which aids in finding the fault. When<br />

fitted with probes the unit will detect the acoustic discharge (thump), measure<br />

the time delay between acoustic and electromagnetic signals and calculate<br />

the distance to fault. Using the dual probe system the direction to fault is<br />

indicated. Detects faults up to 23m away. Battery powered.<br />
