etween Maya’s sister-in-law and mother.
So that Maya rented a small room and started
cosmetic shop with the support of an
organization. Her children became sick
frequently so she could not run the shop
and had to use all the money for medical
check up. Then, she again started a new
shop, where she sold meat and alcohol.
She found some 3-4 close friends in her
community with whom she could share her
problems. She felt very well after sharing
the things with friends. She started to laugh
even after facing the difficult situation while
sharing with friends. She added that her
children also supported in the difficult
situation because they never asked for things
as their friends. They used to be quiet even
when there was no food to eat at home (she
was crying while saying those things).
Finally she shared that people wanted to
take advantage if any women suffered or was
not cared by family member especially by
husband. She added, there was a married
guy of her community who met her and
asked her to marry with him. He was ready
to leave his previous wife and children but
she rejected by saying that other women
would not have to face similar problem as
she faced.
