TCAEY-THAEY 115÷238
general characteristics
New Compact-Y series
Energy-saving, reliable and versatile water chillers and
heat pumps
A comp lete, flexible ser ies
Nine new water chillers and heat pumps from 15 to 38 kW in R410A,
which can be fitt ed wit h t he i nnovati ve AdaptiveFunction Plus control
logic developed by RHOSS S.p.A. in partnership wit h t he U niversity of
Padua, to obtain optimal comfort levels in all wor king conditions and the
best possibl e performanc e in ter ms of energy efficienc y during seas onal
operation.
AdaptiveFunction Plu s provi des a comf ort and energy s aving
guarant ee!
LOW ENERGY CONSUMPTION water chillers and heat pumps
The AdaptiveFunction Plu s “Economy” function combines c omfort
with l ow energy c ons umption. I n f act, by adjusti ng the set-point value, it
opti mises compressor operation on the basis of t he actual wor king
conditi ons.
It is thus possible to achi eve significant s easonal energy savi ngs
compared to water chillers and heat pumps of an equivalent power with
traditional control logic.
HIGH PRECISION water chillers and h eat pumps
By using t he AdaptiveFunction Plus “Pr eci sion” function, it is possi ble
to ac hieve as littl e fluct uation as possibl e, at partial capacities , in terms
of t he average s et-point water t emperature deli vered t o t he users.
Guaranteed rel iabil it y, even with water in the pipes onl y
Thanks to the “Virtual T ank” f uncti on, Compac t-Y units with
AdaptiveFunction Plu s can operate i n s ystems wit h a low wat er
cont ent of down to 2 litres/ kW, even without the pres enc e of a water
buffer tank, whilst still guaranteeing the reliability and good working
order of the unit over ti me.
Estimation of the syst em's therm al inertia
Compact-Y units wit h AdaptiveFunction Plus are abl e t o esti mate t he
charact eristics of t he thermal i nertia that regulates t he s ystem
dynamics. T his is possi ble t hanks t o t he " ACM Autotuning” functi on,
which proc esses the inf ormation relati ve to the progress of t he water
temperatures, identif ying the opti mal value of the control paramet ers.
Continuous system autodiagnosis
The es timation function is al ways acti ve and makes it possibl e t o adapt
the c ontr ol par ameters quic kl y t o every change in the wat er circuit and
thus i n the s ystem water contents.
Polyvalent EXPSYSTEMS units in R410A for efficient energy
use
Efficient en erg y u se
EXPS YSTE MS is a lat est generation pol yval ent ecol ogical syst em,
designed by RHOSS S.p.A. to offer c ooling, heati ng and hot water
simultaneousl y or independently at any time of year, whilst
guarant eeing efficient energy usage. Energy s avings are very high, with
COP values of over 6 during the simultaneous production of chilled and
hot water.
With EXP SYST EMS , EFFICIENCY, RELIABILITY AND VERSATILITY ar e
guarant eed, whilst offering great er environmental protec tion.
Polyvalent units for residential and light commercial applications
Four new units from 17 t o 34 kW in R 410A, able to c at er for t he t ypical
demands of 2 and 4-pipe s ystems i n a flexible fas hion, so much s o in
fact that they can be used in existing s ystems without any modific ations.
They come compl ete wit h a wi de range of acc essories, which c an also
be s upplied f actor y fitted.
