Ankush Raina travelled from Mumbai to the Scottish capital back in
2005 to undertake a Higher National Diploma (HND) Hospitality
Management course at Edinburgh’s Telford College. Attracted to
Telford for its Hospitality Management course that offered a
combination of theory and practical teaching, Ankush also saw the
great benefits on offer at the College through its vocational
internships and excellent bridging opportunities to university.
“The knowledge and skills I attained at Telford prepared me to
develop myself both personally and professionally and
undoubtedly laid the foundations for me to become a disciplined
student at university level, instilling in me the ability to be more
focused and motivated towards my future goals.
“Telford provides a perfect environment for students to learn and
develop with a variety of learning facilities – the College
consistently looks for ways to improve and offer both home and
international students with impressive, modern, educational
facilities and support. The relentless support and guidance from
the lecturers was undoubtedly a key ingredient in helping me as
an international student to integrate my skills and abilities toward
my higher education.
“I very much enjoyed my time at Telford and would definitely
recommend the College to friends for all the excellent experiences I
had. I would like to thank and congratulate all the staff on working
together to create an excellent educational establishment.”
