ACCOMMODATION ISSUES YOU MAY ENCOUNTER AS A STUDENT.
We are pleased to offer our international students
two main types of accommodation – lodgings and
residential student accommodation.
Lodgings
This means to rent a room in someone’s home or flat and
this is a very popular option for many international
students. The College will assist you in finding a room
with a local family or person that has been vetted by our
Accommodation Officer.
The following are recommended prices for lodgings that
include all bills (electricity, gas etc) but not phone bills:
Self Catering (no meals)
From £74 per week
Bed & Breakfast
From £76 per week
Bed, Breakfast & Evening meal
From £100 per week
Student Residential Accommodation
Edinburgh’s Telford College has brand new, safe and
secure student residential accommodation that is just
two minutes walk from the College. The accommodation
consists of:
• 110 rooms arranged in five bedroom apartments
• Each bedroom has en suite facilities
• Each apartment has a fully fitted kitchenette
and living area
• Common room area with TV, vending
machines and a pool table
• Internet access in every room
• On-site laundry room
• Secure cycle store
• Social evenings on-site
• Secure door entry system
• 24 hour onsite CCTV
• Weekly rental includes all bills and broadband
connection charges
• Capped utility charge for the academic year.
For the 2010/2011 session, the price per week will be
£126.50 but there are exciting incentives available, please
