Digital Media Computing<br />
Levels 4, 5, 6 A F<br />
What will I study?<br />
This first level entry course is an exciting<br />
and practical computing and IT programme.<br />
It includes hands-on skills in preparing still<br />
images, audio and video for websites,<br />
animation and games design. This course<br />
offers you the opportunity to study a wide<br />
range of computer applications at an<br />
introductory level. Successful completion<br />
provides the opportunity for further study<br />
on our full-time NC Digital Media<br />
Computing Level 5 programme.<br />
How will I be assessed?<br />
Assessment is continuous.<br />
Will there be work experience?<br />
There is no compulsory work experience in<br />
this course programme but you are<br />
encouraged to gain work experience in the<br />
industry during their studies.<br />
What are the entry requirements?<br />
You will need to complete an IELTS<br />
language course at level 5.0 and pass our<br />
on line levelling test.<br />
Can I go on to further study?<br />
(<strong>Telford</strong>, other colleges and university):<br />
Upon successful completion of level 4 you<br />
can progress to Level 5 NC Digital Media<br />
Computing and then into a variety of<br />
computing and creative computer based<br />
HNC/D programmes.<br />
Where can this course lead me when I<br />
finish studying?<br />
Career opportunities are available as: PC<br />
technician, web developer, software<br />
developer, multimedia developer and<br />
games developer.<br />
