HND Photography HE
What will I study?
Photography is all around us. It
informs our lives through
magazines, newspapers, advertising,
fashion and art. This practical course
combines traditional and digital
photography skills. You will work in
our purpose-built studios and on
location. With the emphasis on new
digital technologies, this course is
project-based and teaches you the
technical and creative skills
necessary to work in the industry as
a photographer. Projects include;
fashion, photo-journalism,
advertising, landscape, portraiture.
This course will teach you the basics
of video production, including how
to work your video and video
editing software. You will discuss
creative composition, camera
techniques and learn to edit using
digital technology.
What are the entry requirements?
You must have IELTS 5.5 or one of
the following: TOEFL Paper 513 and
above, TOEFL CBT 183 and above,
TOEFL IBT 65 and above. You must
have a High School Diploma with
good marks in subjects relating to
what you want to study (e.g. 55% at
10+2 in India).
Where can this course lead me
when I finish studying?
This course prepares you for
progression to a degree level course
in photography or related media
subjects throughout the UK.
