<strong>Task</strong> Steps 1 st 2nd<br />
1. Lower an appropriate length of rope from the intended destination of the<br />
hoseline.<br />
2. Fold the nozzle end of the hoseline backover the rest of the hose so that the<br />
overlap of 4 to 5 feet is formed.<br />
3. Tie a clove hitch, with an overhand safety know, around the tip of the nozzle<br />
and the hose it is floded against so that they are lashed together.<br />
4. Place a half hitch on the doubled hose about 12 inches from the loop end.<br />
