METOS WD-7 COMBI-DISHWASHERS<br />

■ <strong>Metos</strong> WD-7 can wash large GN containers,<br />

600x400 mm transport boxes or up to eight 450x600<br />

mm baking plates. Free height of the washing cabinet<br />

is 500 mm. Washing pressure adjustable.<br />

<strong>Metos</strong> WD hood type machines are fully automatic single tank<br />

dishwashers for dem<strong>and</strong>ing use in institutional <strong>and</strong> restaurant<br />

kitchens. The design is geared to the dem<strong>and</strong>s of hygiene, intensive<br />

use <strong>and</strong> pleasant <strong>and</strong> effortless working conditions including cleaning<br />

<strong>and</strong> servicing. The machines are of stainless steel. The large range<br />

includes a suitable model for every use. The range also includes all<br />

the required fi xtures <strong>and</strong> accessories for the washing department.<br />

Dishwasher operation is effortless. When the hood is closed, the washing<br />

programmes start automatically. With the Autohood models the hood is closed<br />

by pressing a button <strong>and</strong> the hood is automatically lifted at the end of the programme.<br />

When rising, the hood tilts fi rst forward releasing the steam from the<br />

rear upwards. When there are no dishes to wash, the machine is set into the<br />

energy saving mode to wait for dishes <strong>and</strong> the hood is closed.<br />

<strong>Metos</strong> WD 7 – a versatile hood type machine<br />

WD-7 is a hood type machine with an electronic control system. The machine<br />

uses st<strong>and</strong>ard 500x500 mm baskets. In pot washing the pressure of the lower<br />

<strong>Metos</strong> WD-6 <strong>and</strong> WD-7 are the dishwashers for<br />

small <strong>and</strong> medium-size kitchens. If there is a<br />

large amount of food preparation dishware to<br />

be washed, the WD-7 offers a higher pressure<br />

for pot washing <strong>and</strong> a larger washing zone for<br />

GN containers, large bowls <strong>and</strong> transport boxes.<br />

Automatic hood raising <strong>and</strong> lowering improve the<br />

ergonomics. See page 180 for the pre-wash tables<br />

<strong>and</strong> drying lines.<br />

wash arm can be raised by turning a specifi c lever. The washing zone can h<strong>and</strong>le<br />

large food preparation vessels, 600x400 mm transport boxes <strong>and</strong> for instance up<br />

to eight 450x600 mm bakery plates at a time (the bakery plate basket is optional).<br />

The machine has three programmes: 1.2, 1.7 <strong>and</strong> 3.2 minutes (factory setting).<br />

The washing <strong>and</strong> rinsing times can be adjusted for each kitchen.<br />

The machine always checks that the water fl ow in the fi nal rinse is correct. If the<br />

rinsing water temperature falls under 85°C, the machine goes on washing until<br />

the correct temperature is reached. The remaining washing time is displayed<br />

on the panel.<br />

Cleaning of the machine is easy <strong>and</strong> effortless. When the strainers, overfl ow<br />

pipe <strong>and</strong> possible food residues are removed, it is possible to start the machine’s<br />

own self-cleaning programme. The machine then rinses <strong>and</strong> sanitizes the interior<br />

with 85-degree rinse water. These three features (Automatic rinse water control,<br />

rinse temperature control <strong>and</strong> built-in self-cleaning program) support the kitchen<br />

HACCP concept. The basket counter indicates the number of the baskets during<br />

the day <strong>and</strong> during the whole usage time. The machine is thermally <strong>and</strong> acoustically<br />

insulated. Tank volume 53 litres. Free height of the hood is 500 mm.
