Solution 1 for savings ESE – Empty Space Elimination<br />

The <strong>Metos</strong> ICS+ controls the rack queue. When the sensor (photocell)<br />

detects an empty space in the rack queue, the machine is<br />

paused until the next rack arrives.<br />

In the st<strong>and</strong>-by position the washing pumps are switched off. The<br />

dishwasher can be started manually, if necessary. If the rack stays<br />

in the machine over 5 minutes, it will start automatically.<br />

Solution 2 for savings CRT – Constant Rinse Time<br />

The ICS+ operating system divides the washing process into two<br />

cycles, a quick transfer wash <strong>and</strong> a more intensive power wash. To<br />

optimise the fresh water consumption in fi nal rinse for adequate <strong>and</strong><br />

safe hygiene level each rack is rinsed for 14 seconds. This time is<br />

constant for both the slower programme (50 racks/h) as well as for<br />

the faster programme (100 racks/h). The fresh water consumption<br />

in fi nal rinse per rack is only 1,4 litres!<br />
