gage_set_independant_operation Syntax C: void GAGEAPI gage_set_independant_operation (int16 independant); Visual BASIC: Sub gage_set_independant_operation (ByVal independant As Integer) Remarks gage_set_independant_operation sets the driver to initialize the Multiple/Independent CompuScope operation mode. In Multiple/Independent mode, two or more CompuScopes can be operated completely independently of each other with completely different CompuScope parameters. Before initializing the CompuScope hardware, with the gage_driver_initialize routine, the gage_set_independant_operation routine must be called to enable Multiple/Independent CompuScope operation. Before setting up each board with the desired parameters, you should select the board by calling the gage_select_board routine. When operating CompuScopes in Multiple/Independent mode, the routines; gage_board_start_capture, gage_board_force_capture and gage_board_abort_capture should be used in place of gage_start_capture, gage_force_capture and gage_abort_capture, respectively. These routines select the appropriate board internally. The independant parameter when used with a non-zero value will set the CompuScope hardware for Multiple/Independent operation. Once the CompuScope hardware has been set for independent mode the routine gage_set_independant_operation with the value 0 for the independant parameter can be called to disable Multiple/Independent operation. gage_set_independant_operation must be called before calling the gage_driver_initialize routine when independent operation mode is required.
