<strong>in</strong> its governance efforts <strong>in</strong> 2012 by<br />

creat<strong>in</strong>g an ethics and compliance<br />

organization <strong>in</strong>dependent of our bus<strong>in</strong>ess<br />

units and corporate functions, led by<br />

an officer at Cumm<strong>in</strong>s.<br />

<strong>The</strong> move was made not <strong>in</strong> response to<br />

any problem but <strong>in</strong> recognition of the critical<br />

role ethics and governance play <strong>in</strong> the<br />

success and susta<strong>in</strong>ability of a company.<br />

“Cumm<strong>in</strong>s already has successful<br />

compliance efforts <strong>in</strong> most aspects<br />

of our bus<strong>in</strong>ess,” said Cumm<strong>in</strong>s CEO<br />

Tom L<strong>in</strong>ebarger <strong>in</strong> announc<strong>in</strong>g the move.<br />
