Crossover Main Replacement - Coke Oven Managers Association

Introduction
Due to the poor condition of the pipe work and the losses of
containment, we were faced with three options.
1. Repair the current pipe work by “over plating”.
2. Remove the Coke side Gas Collecting Main and
“Crossover mains” altogether and operate the plant on a
single Gas Collecting Main.
3. Remove the Crossover mains and replace with new.
