announces title<br />
sponsorship of<br />
elite masters<br />
cycling team<br />

cycling teams<br />
in the country now bears<br />
the name and badge of<br />
<strong>Hammer</strong> <strong>Nutrition</strong> as title sponsor.<br />
Team <strong>Hammer</strong>/Charity of Choice, an<br />
eight-rider team, includes 2012 world<br />
masters time trial champion and 2010<br />
U.S. national champion, Cale Reeder,<br />
as well as three other U.S. national age<br />
group champions. Racing last year as<br />
Echelon Gran Fondo/Charity of Choice,<br />
the California-based team took 58 wins<br />
and 110 podium finishes in 2012. They<br />
intend to compete in over 100 races in 12<br />
states in 2013.<br />
For the last three years, <strong>Hammer</strong><br />
<strong>Nutrition</strong> has been a significant<br />
supporter of this team and its cycling<br />
series (Echelon Gran Fondo), as well as<br />
Charity of Choice, a fundraising model<br />
attached to the series where participants<br />
can fundraise for any charity and earn<br />
rewards including <strong>Hammer</strong> <strong>Nutrition</strong><br />
products. Echelon founder Hunter<br />
Ziesing said that for 2013, Echelon is<br />
splitting its fundraising model from<br />
its event series and focusing on the<br />
national roll out of its new site for online<br />
fundraising: www.charity-of-choice.com.<br />
“Charity-of-choice.com will give millions<br />
of athletically minded fundraisers access<br />
to any charity and be able to fundraise<br />
around any event including cycling,<br />
running, and other distance challenges,”<br />
he explained. “Given how much<br />
fundraising is done around endurance<br />
sporting events, <strong>Hammer</strong> <strong>Nutrition</strong> is<br />
a great partner to help us to take the<br />
Charity of Choice fundraising model<br />
national. <strong>Hammer</strong> <strong>Nutrition</strong> is not only<br />
philanthropic but diligent about serving<br />
healthy and non-sugar based products to<br />
endurance athletes.”<br />
Team <strong>Hammer</strong>/Charity of Choice began<br />
its 2013 season with a December 2012<br />
training camp and a few roads races in<br />
