Insert a suitable mandrel into the pin bore<br />
of the piston<br />

Press the piston down onto the mandrel,<br />
pushing the wrist pin out<br />

Insert screwdriver into slot and push to compress<br />
ring. Pry ring up and out of the retainer groove<br />
Remove the piston from the connecting rod<br />
