Dealership showrooms should be located<br />
near <strong>Los</strong> <strong>Gatos</strong> Boulevard<br />
Display pads for new vehicle display may be<br />
constructed in the <strong>Los</strong> <strong>Gatos</strong> Boulevard setback<br />
a) A maximum <strong>of</strong> two display pads will be allowed<br />
per dealership. Pads may be located within the landscaped<br />
setback.<br />
b) Display pads will be limited to <strong>Los</strong> <strong>Gatos</strong> Boulevard<br />
and Blossom Hill Road frontages.<br />
c) Display pads located at ground level should include<br />
special paving.<br />
d) Display pads may be elevated above ground level<br />
so long as the top <strong>of</strong> vehicles on the pads will not<br />
exceed a height <strong>of</strong> ten feet above sidewalk level.<br />
Customer parking should include trees in<br />
parking islands and special paving patterns<br />
Exterior sales vehicle display areas will be<br />
treated differently than normal parking lots<br />
a) Exterior sales vehicle display areas will not be<br />
required to include landscaping.<br />
b) Exterior sales vehicle display areas should include<br />
areas <strong>of</strong> permeable surfacing to reduce surface<br />
water run<strong>of</strong>f. Permeable surfaces could include<br />
grass swales, turf block or other techniques to allow<br />
water to penetrate into the ground rather than flow<br />
to storm sewers.<br />
All surface areas not absolutely required for<br />
circulation or vehicle storage shall be<br />
landscaped<br />
Functional uses with the potential for noise<br />
and lighting impacts should be located and<br />
designed to be sensitive to nearby residential<br />
properties<br />
Access and circulation to customer service<br />
parking and to service areas should be clearly<br />
delineated<br />
Site lighting should be mounted on low poles<br />
and be limited to shielded fixtures<br />
