Desperate Optimists are Christine Molloy and Joe Lawlor.<br />

Over the past six years they have created award winning<br />

short films. In 2008, they premiered their debut feature<br />

film HELEN to great critical success. In addition to<br />

theatrical releases, award-winning HELEN has played<br />

extensively in film festivals throughout the world. They<br />

are working on a new feature film called MISTER JOHN.<br />

This will be done in co-production with Samson <strong>Film</strong>s.<br />
