Art Fest Ltd. is a production and distribution company. Since<br />
1997 it has produced Sofia International <strong>Film</strong> <strong>Festival</strong>, the<br />
biggest film festival in Bulgaria; international competition for<br />
first and second films (Grand Prix); competition for Bulgarian<br />
feature films (Kodak Award) and shorts (Jameson Short <strong>Film</strong><br />
Award); FIPRESCI award; Best Balkan <strong>Film</strong> - No Man's Land<br />
Award; focus on European and World independent cinema.<br />
Since 2004 significant part of the festival is the Sofia Meetings<br />
event (pitching for firts, second or third feature film projects<br />
and showcase of Bulgarian and regional cinema).<br />

Association Héliotrope was created in January 1997. Its main aim<br />
is to foster the short-film Promotion and Distribution in the area<br />
of Nice and of the Alpes-Maritimes Department especially<br />
throughout the short-film <strong>Festival</strong> “Un festival c’est trop court”<br />
(“One festival, is too short”) of Nice. Association Héliotrope<br />
mainly deals with five fields: The <strong>Festival</strong>, “Un festival, c’est trop<br />
court” (10th to 15th April 2007/7th Event) Distribution: “Une<br />
soirée c’est trop court” (One evening, is too short), “Une nuit c’est<br />
trop court” (One night, is too short) as well as thematic evenings<br />
such as “La Photo en movement” (Picture in moving). Image<br />
Education in the framework of Workshops of Artistic Practice at<br />
the secondary school level as well as Trainees for Adults (since<br />
2003). Information, Centre of documentation (films, revues,<br />
handbook, Internet) opened to members, Web Site; Database<br />
available (<strong>Festival</strong>, films, producers, and competitions).<br />
Promotion, networking, participation to <strong>Festival</strong>s (Cannes,<br />
Clermont-Ferrand, Aix-en-Provence) Project development (DVD,<br />
Regional Products, Workshops and so on).<br />
