Producer Michael Eckelt founded Riva Filmproduktion
GmbH in Hamburg in 2006. He is the former managing
director of Neue Impuls Film Produktionsgesellschaft
GmbH, which he founded as successor of Impuls Film in
1996. In the past Michael Eckelt and his team successfully
combined decades of film industry experience with new
talent, establishing durable and fruitful relationships with
business and creative partners worldwide. Apart from
German productions, Riva Film has a strong focus on
international co-productions of high quality feature films
for the arthouse market.

Saga Film is one of the biggest production companies in
Romania, that coproduced the 2007 Palme d’Or winner
4 MONTHS, 3 WEEKS AND 2 DAYS, directed by
Cristian Mungiu. After the awarded short film THE
YELLOW SMILEY FACE (2008) directed by Constantin
Popescu, it’s now producing, OUTSKIRTS, made after
an idea of Cristian Mungiu and Ioana Uricaru. Since the
year 2000 over 600 commercials were produced,
having clients such as Lowe Paris, BBH London,
Paradiso Israel.
