Duna Television is a Hungarian language public satellite
channel, established in 1992 with the mission to serve all
Hungarians living in and outside Hungary. Since 2002,
Duna Television’s Hungarian language programs became
available in the USA, and from March 2003, in Australia
and New Zealand and Latin America as well. It’s an art
and family channel: the programs transmit human values
and avoid agressivity. We have feature film slots for
mostly new Eastern European productions and also for
classics. We also look for family films, animation specials,
Eastern European documentaries and TV mini-series for
family and children. In april 2006, Duna TV’s second
channel, Autonomia Television started broadcasting.
