local films was founded by Nicolas Brevière in Paris in
1997. The company has produced around 50 films which
have been selected and screened in a large number of int.
film festivals around the world or aired in France and
abroad. The mission of local films has remained
unchanged from inception: to foster, reveal and promote
emerging arthouse talents. To achieve this goal, local
films works with a small number of directors, and for
typically long periods of time: François Ozon (SEE THE
SEA, 1997, BED STORIED 1998), Thomas Salvador,
Blandine Lenoir, Lucia Sanchez, Pascal-Alex Vincent,
Paul Raoux, Jean-Gabriel Périot, Lorenzo Recio.

In it’s 16 years of existence Memphis Film & Televison has
produced a large number of films for television and
theatrical release. We have worked with all the major
broadcasters in the Netherlands and with co-production
partners in Europe. Managing Director Cécile van Eijk
and producer Sherman de Jesus have both been creative
and finance professionals and film producers operating
together with junior producer Eline van Wees. Our rich
and practical understanding of the creative industries
enables us to deliver prizewinning films to a world
audience.
