FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE<br />
(Kindergarten-5th Grade)<br />
The M-T <strong>Recreation</strong> department will again be sponsoring a flag football league this fall for grades kindergarten through fifth<br />
grade. This is a very popular program!! There is no limit to the number of participants who register by the AUGUST 1 deadline.<br />
Three divisions will be created: Kindergarten & 1st graders, 2nd & 3rd graders, and 4th & 5th graders. When registering your<br />
child, please list height and weight.<br />
K-1st Grade: Practices and games will take place on Saturday mornings at Steffen Middle <strong>School</strong>. There will be a 30-minute<br />
practice followed by a 45-minute game each Saturday. All games and practices will take place at Steffen Middle <strong>School</strong>.<br />
2nd & 3rd Grade: There will be two Thursday evening practices on August 28th and September 4th (times to be announced).<br />
There will be a 30-minute practice followed by a 60-minute game each Saturday. All games and practices will take place at<br />
Steffen Middle <strong>School</strong>.<br />
4th & 5th Grade: Same structure as 2nd and 3rd grade.<br />
Teams will be coached by parent volunteers. For those interested in coaching, please state your interest on the<br />
registration form. There will be a coaches meeting on Tuesday, August 19th, 2014, at 6:00pm for K-1st grade and 7:00pm<br />
for 2nd – 5th Grade in Range Line Conference Room. All coaches MUST attend the coaches meeting. Coaching assignments<br />
will be sent out one week prior to the meeting.<br />
Officials Needed: High school age students are hired to officiate games. If you have an interest in officiating flag football,<br />
please contact the M-T <strong>Recreation</strong> Office at 262-238-7536.<br />

Registration: The deadline for registration is August 1, 2014. The deadline will be strictly adhered to allow time for<br />
making team assignments, ordering team shirts, securing equipment, and creating game schedules. Registration for<br />
flag football needs to be completed on the Flag Football Registration Form (different than the regular M-T <strong>Recreation</strong><br />
Registration Form). Height and weight need to be included on the form.<br />
