BEGINNING BAND<br />
This class is for students who are entering 5th grade and are interested in beginning a band instrument. Individuals<br />
must supply their own instruments. Students will participate in like-instrument groups in June. This gives them the<br />
opportunity to learn basics specific to their instrument. When students return in August, they will participate in fullband<br />
rehearsals where they will prepare for a short, informal concert on Friday, August 15th at 11:30 AM.<br />
Prerequisite: Entering grade 5<br />

CONTINUING BAND<br />
This class is for students who are entering grades 6-8 and are enrolled in a school band program during the regular<br />
school year. The program provides time for students to get back into shape for the upcoming school year while<br />
learning fun and exciting music. Students must supply their own instruments and will present an informal concert<br />
on Friday, August 15th at 11:30 AM.<br />
