August 3 - AS forces based at KM 13 attacked a TFG base at Sarkuusta. The fighting claimed<br />
lives of at least three civilians and unknown number of combatants. The TFG forces were<br />

July 29 - Somali government forces and African Union troops have battled insurgents in heavy<br />
fighting in the capital Mogadishu to secure aid routes for drought victims. At least 27 civilians<br />

July 28 - TFG/AMSIOM forces launched a surprise offensive against AS positions in the above<br />
mentioned districts. In the fighting TFG/AMISOM troops managed to capture a number of<br />
locations along Sodonka road (30 Street). At least 21 people (including civilians) were reported<br />
