January 3 - <strong>Somalia</strong> government allied militias have shot dead three men in Beletweyn town, the<br />
capital region of Hiran on Monday, officials confirmed. The men were taken from their car while<br />
driving in the centre of the town near the main bridge of Beletweyn, a local resident told RBC<br />
Radio. Sources in the Beletweyn say that the men were alleged they were remnants of defeated<br />
Al-Shabab fighters and were searching for a safe place to hide.<br />

December 24 - A woman was killed and 3 others wounded after huge blast occurred at an area<br />
where these were cleaning in Dharkenlay district in the Somali capital Mogadishu, eyewitness<br />
said. The blast was a roadside bomb used for remote control that occurred at a spot where of<br />
women were carrying out sanitation campaign killing 1, injuring 3 others, eyewitness said.<br />

December 23 – One of <strong>Somalia</strong> soldiers on Friday shot and killed an innocent civilian man in<br />
Mogadishu‘s Karan district. The soldier is said to have opened fire on the man while he was at<br />
the village og Jabuti while TFG police forces conducted a security operation.<br />

shot and killed at least two people and wounded many others – all civilians at food aid distribution<br />

December 6 - A suicide bomber struck the Somali capital on Tuesday, the latest in a wave of<br />
deadly attacks in Mogadishu, and dozens of Islamist rebels and Somali government troops have<br />
been killed in fighting in the south.The car bomb exploded 50 meters from the recently reopened<br />
Turkish embassy, near to the Kilometer 4 (K4) junction, a busy intersection in Mogadishu's<br />
administrative district. A health official said at least three people were killed by the blast.Two<br />
policemen and one civilian were killed, Elmi said.<br />

November 29 - Three people including young children were killed and seven others were<br />
seriously wounded in double explosions happened in the Somali capital Mogadishu on Tuesday,<br />
eyewitnesses said. Local residents said that the firs blast was caused a purse hidden in an<br />
explosive device that killed two children and injured five,who have been plying it in the heart of<br />
Mogadishu's Wardhigley district.<br />
