The Stacked option of Dialog box 106 produces bar charts in which each category of a variable is represented by a separate bar. Furthermore, each bar is split into segments that represent the categories of a second variable. Figure 57 shows that for each sport played both by males and females, the top part of the bar represents the mean enjoyment score for males and the bottom part represents the mean score for females. To create the stacked bar chart, in Dialog box 112 move enjoyment into the other summary function box, activity into the category axis box, and gender into the define stacks by box.
