SEASON HIGHLIGHTS<br />

• <strong>San</strong> <strong>Jose</strong> be<strong>com</strong>es just the second team in <strong>NHL</strong> history (N.Y. Islanders) to post six<br />

consecutive seasons of point improvement.<br />

• The <strong>Sharks</strong> make the Stanley Cup Playoffs for a franchise-record sixth consecutive<br />

season.<br />

• The <strong>Sharks</strong> win their first Pacific Division title, posting franchise records in wins<br />

(44) and points (99).<br />

• The <strong>Sharks</strong> narrowly miss advancing to the Western Conference Finals, losing<br />

consecutive one-goal matches in Games Six and Seven to the Colorado Avalanche<br />

in the Western Conference Semifinals. The <strong>Sharks</strong> defeated the Phoenix Coyotes<br />

in the Western Conference Quarterfinals, 4-1.<br />

• RW Owen Nolan be<strong>com</strong>es the <strong>Sharks</strong> all-time points leader with his 351st point<br />

as a Shark.<br />

• The <strong>Sharks</strong> set a franchise record with a 10-game unbeaten streak (9-0-1-0)<br />

from Nov. 27–Dec. 19.<br />

• The <strong>Sharks</strong> set a franchise record with a six-game road win streak (Dec. 6 –19)<br />

• G Evgeni Nabokov sets franchise records in all-time wins (58), single-season<br />

wins (37), all-time shutouts (11) single-season shutouts (seven) and became the<br />

seventh <strong>NHL</strong> goaltender (first European-born <strong>NHL</strong> goaltender) to score a goal.<br />

• The <strong>Sharks</strong> tie a franchise record by scoring 10 goals on March 30 vs. Columbus<br />

— the most ever at home.<br />

• Acquired LW Adam Graves, D Rich Pilon and future considerations from the<br />

N.Y. Rangers in exchange for RW Mikael Samuelsson, D Christian Gosselin and a<br />
