Students in <strong>the</strong> following classifications are eligible for<br />

In-State Tuition waivers. These waivers do not affect <strong>the</strong><br />

student’s eligibility for <strong>the</strong> HOPE Scholarship or Grant, except<br />

for waivers for military personnel and <strong>the</strong>ir dependents as<br />

provided for in <strong>the</strong> GSFC regulations.<br />

• Employees and <strong>the</strong>ir children who move to Georgia for<br />

employment with a new or expanding industry as defined<br />

in OCGA 20-4-40;<br />

• Full-time employees <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Technical</strong> <strong>College</strong> System <strong>of</strong><br />

Georgia, <strong>the</strong>ir spouses, and dependent children;<br />

• Full-time teachers in a public school, a military base,<br />

or a public postsecondary college, <strong>the</strong>ir spouses, and<br />

dependent children;<br />

• <strong>Unit</strong>ed States military personnel stationed in Georgia and<br />

on active duty and <strong>the</strong>ir dependents living in Georgia;<br />

• <strong>Unit</strong>ed States military personnel, spouses and<br />

dependent children reassigned outside Georgia, who<br />

remain continuously enrolled and on active military<br />

status;<br />

• <strong>Unit</strong>ed States military personnel and <strong>the</strong>ir dependents<br />

that are Domiciled in Georgia, but are stationed outside<br />

<strong>the</strong> State;<br />

• Students who are Domiciled in out-<strong>of</strong>-state counties<br />

bordering on Georgia counties and who are enrolled in a<br />

<strong>Technical</strong> <strong>College</strong> with a local reciprocity agreement;<br />

• Career consular <strong>of</strong>ficers and <strong>the</strong>ir dependents that are<br />

citizens <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> foreign nation which <strong>the</strong>ir consular <strong>of</strong>fice<br />

represents, and who are living in Georgia under orders<br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir respective governments. This waiver shall apply<br />

only to those consular <strong>of</strong>ficers whose nations operate on<br />

<strong>the</strong> principle <strong>of</strong> <strong>edu</strong>cational reciprocity with <strong>the</strong> <strong>Unit</strong>ed<br />

States.<br />

International Students<br />

Oconee Fall Line <strong>Technical</strong> <strong>College</strong> is not authorized to issue<br />

I-20Ms for Student visas.<br />

Enrollment in Multiple Programs<br />

Concurrent enrollment in more than one degree, diploma, and/or<br />

technical certificate program is not allowed.<br />

Program Transfers<br />

Students have <strong>the</strong> option <strong>of</strong> transferring from one program to<br />

ano<strong>the</strong>r while enrolled at <strong>the</strong> <strong>College</strong>, provided <strong>the</strong> student<br />

has <strong>the</strong> necessary qualifications for transfer and a vacancy is<br />

available in <strong>the</strong> program. Students interested in transferring to<br />

a different program should first contact <strong>the</strong> Admissions Office<br />

to initiate a program transfer and find out information about<br />

<strong>the</strong> intended program. Next, a student may meet with Career<br />

Services to discuss program transfer and <strong>the</strong>n <strong>the</strong> Financial Aid<br />

Office to obtain information about how <strong>the</strong> change may affect<br />

financial aid. Finally, students still interested in transferring<br />

to a different program should return to <strong>the</strong> Admissions Office<br />

for completion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> program transfer. In <strong>the</strong> event a student<br />

declares a change <strong>of</strong> programs, <strong>the</strong> student’s previously earned<br />

credits will be evaluated in terms <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> new program. Program<br />

transfer priority dates are <strong>the</strong> same as <strong>the</strong> Financial Aid priority<br />

dates which are listed on <strong>the</strong> <strong>OFTC</strong> calendar. Students must
