5. Assess and mitigate cumulative impacts to environment<br />

• Project does not require any separable mitigation for cumulative impacts.<br />

6. Build and share knowledge<br />

• Utilized engineering consultants for hydraulics/hydrology analysis on<br />

Wharton and the hydraulic design on Williamson because they were<br />

“experts” in the field. We will have that knowledge for the next design.<br />

7. Respect the view <strong>of</strong> individuals and groups<br />

• Input from resource agencies and the public were adequately addressed<br />

and incorporated.<br />

• Wharton had no public comments. Viewpoint <strong>of</strong> USFWS is respected, but<br />

cannot accommodate their request, due to <strong>Corps</strong> regulations.<br />
